I agree. Employment is very close to slavery. The most difficult thing about being self-employed is being an excellent boss to yourself. It requires savvy, discipline and inspiration but the freedom is well worth the risk!

Don't let your self fall into the rat race. To many people do it. It was one of the reasons the economy is where it is now. The people who didn't fall into it are still living life the same way they were a year ago.

Been there, done that. Just ask anyone who was in aerospace in Southern California in the late '80s and early '90s.

Security becomes higher priority when you have a family depending on your income.

It makes me feel even worse since I'm trying to get a job.

I'm only doing it to cover my expenses until my blog starts making me enough money.
